 | I 've painted many “generic” church scenes over the years, but one historic favorite I preserved was the Mt. Olivet Reformed Episcopal Church at Rantowles. This church, established in 1880 was housed in a wooden two story building. It made a beautiful structure to preserve on canvas before it was replaced in 1981 by a new and improved concrete block building. This church was a prominent landmark at the Intersection of Highway 17 and South Carolina 162 in Rantowles. |
